In addition I also
use Bidule and Reaktor.( plus a myriad of other free or
commercial available
plugins and apps, see links ) either hosted in my MaxMSP
patches or used as a standalone.
This gives me a certain
flexibility which I really like.
Since I´m not a programmer by trade, the software or systems I create in maxmsp
are
to some extent easy to make if you are a experienced programmer,
however for
me they do work really well,
and I am able to create what I need to perform and compose.
I also try to put some effort into to make the GUI nice,
If you by any chance should
feel the urge to try my creations out, or need more info about them
feel free to contact me, That
being said, they are of course tailored to fit my need and
does not necesarrily reflect
everones need.
If you don´t know maxmsp programming and need a customized
version, I will be glad to create one for you.
Screenshots from some of my
patches: ( click for larger images.)
A granulation device which I use to host in a larger patch.
It accepts both live recording
and prerecorded samples..
The granulation process is based on the mdegranular~ object by
Michael Edwards.
This is a VERY HUGE patch which is divided into two
main
parts. The patch pictured on the Left ) handles all audio,
effects and routing
and
it communicates with the controling/interface patch ( on the Right ) on
a second computer ( or locally) via the Open Sound Control
protocol
The Audio patch
also gives you some visual feedback about spectrum and the data
messages recieved
from the controling patch.
The controlling patch also has preset handling and some predefined
automatisation possiblilties.
